Mindfulness Group Meditation at the Golden Door Spa at The Boulders

Join Buddhist Monk, Bhante Sujatha, when he returns to the Golden Door Spa at The Boulders Resort for the Mindfulness Group Meditation on Sunday, January 29 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.  $65 per person.  Private sessions are also available Monday, January 30 from 1:00 PM to 3:15 PM.

Balance and Mobility Small Group Training at the Golden Door Spa at The Boulders

The goal of Balance and Mobility Training is to reduce an individual’s risk of falling and increase their functional strength and mobility. This is accomplished in a safe small group setting by incorporating specific exercises designed by Debra Rose, PhD at California State University, for the use in adult balance and mobility settings. Karen Janusz, trainer, is a Certified Balance and Mobility Trainer. Janusz incorporates the core components in her training, which include: * Center of gravity control training, * Multisensory training, * Postural strategy training, * Gait pattern enhancement and variation training, * Strength and flexibility training.

Training sessions are Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 2:00 PM and is limited to six people per session. Before starting the group sessions, each individual must go through a Private Balance Assessment to determine health and/or risk factors to be addressed during training. The fee for the Balance Assessment is $70. The fee for each Group Session is $35 per person.
